Lorain County is now seeking preliminary Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced, financially sound, and capable developers, development teams or end users for the acquisition and redevelopment of five key sites in Lorain, OH.
The Lorain Harbor Area-Wide Planning Project Area consists of five publicly-owned properties, totaling 534 acres, located along the Black River and within close proximity to Lake Erie. These five sites are important to the revitalization of Lorain’s historic urban waterfront. The project area has the potential to transform into a mixed-use and sustainable community, featuring nature trails that connect the public to Lake Erie. In addition, all the sites are adjacent to the downtown area and have water access.
For more information on the sites, please visit our website at www.LorainHarborAWP.com.
The goal of this EOI process is to identify entities interested in the acquisition and redevelopment of all or a portion of the property. The responses to the Request for EOI may be used to develop a final short list of potentially interested parties.
Organizations interested in receiving additional information may request an Expression of Interest Package which includes further details about the property, the goals of its owners and the EOI submission process. An optional informational meeting will be held on Thursday June 14th at the City of Lorain Port Authority.
If you are interested in participating in this EOI process, please contact Tiffany McClelland at the City of Lorain Port Authority, firstname.lastname@example.org, (440)204-1194 or Will Warren, Project Manager, Vita Nuova LLC, email@example.com, (888) 508-6710.
